Johann Rohrer awarded EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2016® in the category supply of services.

Johann Rohrer of Rohrer Beteiligungs- und Verwaltungs GmbH with its head office in Niklasdorf, Styria achieved the title „Entrepreneur of the Year“ in the category of supply of services. 40 years ago Johann Rohrer founded the Rohrer Group as a specialist for the cleaning of industrial fuel oil tanks. Quickly he built up the company to a medium sized family owned enterprise and accelerated the growth course by purchasing further companies. In this manner he developed Rohrer to one of the leading enterprises in the field of industrial service with 23 companies in 13 countries. Today Rohrer owns a fleet of more than 1400 machines and vehicles as well as scaffolding material of 26.500 tons.

With its scope of services that does not only include industrial cleaning but also industrial scaffolding, thermal and acoustic insulation, catalyst service, electrical engineering, aluminium and Niro steel construction, automation, plant engineering and construction, measurement and control technology and assembly technology, Rohrer manages all projects and shutdowns in refineries on its own responsibility. Together with his wife Ilse, his daughter Isabella and his son Johann Jr., Mr. Rohrer runs an internationally successful family enterprise of 2600 employees which is still 100 percent privately owned by the family Rohrer.
