Turbomix procedure – Flexible and safe tank cleaning

The turbomix procedure which has been used and constantly enhanced by the Rohrer Group is one of the most efficient tank cleaning procedures available on the market. Powerful, hydraulically driven mixers with controllable rotors are installed into the floating roof manholes of the tanks.

Mobile hydraulic units provide the necessary operating power in order to set the remaining tank content in motion and to loosen the soluble portions of the residues on the floor (hydrocarbon, paraffins, etc.) in the product.

The remaining mixture from product and loosened portions of the residue is pumped into other tanks of the customer, depending on the possibility and infrastructure. Further procedure steps, such as filtering or separation can optionally be used.

After completion of the pumping, the sediments remaining in the tank are manually removed by our experienced teams while complying with the highest safety standards.
