High Pressure Cleaning

Cleaning of Heat Exchangers

Rohrer Group features the necessary vehicles and equipment to realise any high pressure cleaning works, even the most extensive repair works.

High pressure cleaning, also referred to as hydro cleaning, is ideal for the following applications:
  • Elimination of hard and tough residues from tanks, pipelines, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, etc.
  • Degumming of metallic surfaces
  • Removal of paintings and coatings from plants and machines

Benefits of high pressure cleaning compared to other cleaning methods:

  • Careful removal of incrustations, coatings and product residues in order to prevent the component parts and the machines to be cleaned from being damaged
  • The method is reliable and easy to automate in many fields of application (e.g. cleaning of heat exchangers, tanks, air coolers or surfaces). At the same time, the method is flexible because of the use of handy tools.
  • Realisation of an ideal output thanks to various application possibilities
  • Use without addition of chemicals
  • The automation of the working processes reduces the risk of accidents.

For high pressure cleaning of horizontal banks of tubes, the Rohrer Group uses semiautomatic cleaning systems in order to clean their inner and outer surfaces. These systems are adapted to the individual requirements of the given circumstances and obtain the best results for the cleaning of interiors and surfaces of tubes. At the same time, the strictest safety regulations are observed.

The inner surfaces of difficultly accessible heat exchanger tubes are manually cleaned. The use of safety catches with flexible or rigid high pressure lances guarantees optimum working safety.

The jetting pumps used for these fields of application achieve a working pressure of up to 3,000 bar and hoisting speeds between 17 and 500 litre per minute.

Rohrer Group constantly perfects its cleaning systems and equipment in order to reinforce its competence and efficiency and to protect its staff from accidents.
