N2 Work
Inertisation with nitrogen:
By using bespoke systems and a controlled regulation of nitrogen supply, we ensure an efficient nitrogen inertisation of the reactor. The gas has a purity of more than 99%.
Hot stripping:
We continue to flush reactors with hot nitrogen until all hydrogen deposits have been evaporated from the catalyst mass and the reactor is completely dry.
In addition, hot stripping is used for releasing the product in catalytic systems following incidents.
Controlled rapid cooling with liquid nitrogen:
Downtimes can be considerably reduced if the reactor is cooled with liquid nitrogen upon shutdown. The use of liquid nitrogen provides a high level of safety by preventing chemical and thermal reactions inside the reactor.
